Broiled Salmon with Lemon Dill Sauce

A quick recipe that is delicious and easy! Serve with boiled red potatoes tossed in olive oil and fresh basil, steamed green beans with garlic, and a green salad.

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
¾ tsp. dill weed, dried
1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1½ pounds salmon steaks (four 6-oz steaks)
1 lemon, cut into wedges

Directions

  1. Preheat oven using the broiler setting.
  2. Sprinkle pepper evenly over both sides of salmon.
  3. Prepare sauce by combining mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard, and dill weed in a small bowl; stir with a wire whisk until blended. Set sauce aside.
  4. Place salmon on a broiler pan coated with vegetable oil spray. Broil 3 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Portion steaks on plates and spoon sauce over salmon. Garnish with lemon wedges.
